Who's ditching the fold 7

So who is ditching the fold 7 cut the S26U? Both are good phones

Well Im ditching the fold 7 for a S24ultra. Not the same thing as the 26u, but I wanted one of the last true note style that Samsung made. That was one of the reasons I liked the fold 7, love those square corners.

I did get the S26U. I'm keeping my fold 7 also.

I agree, but know some did. Giving the same money for the fold 7 as the S25U for trade in was crazy.

I plan on getting fold 8 depending on pricing. The fold is about to my max now. If they stick with the S series pricing and trade in deals it could be bad. Who am I kidding, I'll probably still buy it.

Fold 7 all the way and not interested in S26 Ultra..I also have a great slab phone with the Pixel 10 XL ..Fold 8 will be my next foldable

Fold 8 is going to be a difficult decision..I'm not sure if I would like the small squatty form when it's folded. I might have to see it at best buy first.

I'll probably order the wide and the regular at preorder and then cancel the one I decide not to get. I can't get behind on the preorder process.

Not ditching, just upgrading the wife S24 Ultra.

Nah, I am happy with the Fold 7, so sticking with it. Not planning to upgrade to the 8 either.

I'm trading in my Fold 7 but I'm not ditching it for the S26U. My daily for the last few months has been the P10P XL. So, I'm really ditching the P10P XL for the 26U. Before that I had the Oneplus 13 and before that the Sammy S25U. That's all in a single year!

All nice phones, all have their pluses and minuses. I just like playing with everything out there.

With the S24 and S25 Ultras, I didn't mind paying off the remaining balance after trade-in credits. But with the Fold devices, that's a different tier in pricing.

Thankfully, I'm still happy with the ZF7 vs the previous Fold device I owned (ZF3) I couldn't wait to get rid of but still kept for 2 years due to cost to trade. I'm very curious to see what the ZF8 and Wide variants look like. I have ATT NextUp so I only have to be halfway through the device balance to trade.

I'm looking forward to the Fold8. My trade-in will be the Fold5 but it's gonna be hard to justify the cost if Samsung raises the retail and lower the trade in values.
