This looks like it may be a few months old and I didn't see any mention of it, but it looks like there may be an easy root and S-Off method for the EVO LTE:

Has anyone tried this?
I've been wanting to root and s-off my phone so I could install CM for the past year, but since the last update I never say any updated methods for root and s-off'ing the phone and it seemed like development support for it seemed to dry up. This method does seem kind of recent.
Just looking for some feed back on this, since I'm kind of new to the whole thing.
