As i am wanting to get and Evo, why is it no matter where i look to purchase one they are still full price at $199.99 even though the new 3D Evo is on its way this summer and other carriers that are in comparison with the Evo are pretty inexpensive? A verizon droid x is now free, AT&T has an HTC Inspire for $79.99 and an Aria for $89.99. Does anybody know where to find a good deal on one other than ebay and craigslist?

Sprint doesn't usually drop the prices on there high end phones. They are still asking $199 for the Touch Pro 2 I guess Sprint thinks if it was worth that in the beginning it still is.

That Amazon Wireless link showed $185 when I checked it. FWIW, I got mine about a month ago from Radio Shack Wireless for $150 with no rebates. I think I had to pay $10 or maybe even $20 for shipping though. It's back up to $200 now. You just have to watch the usual spots like Amazon, RadioShack and Best Buy.

thats kinda what i was thinking, and have been checking them out and it just sucks i see all of the phones comparable to the evo from verizon and at&t being offered with a sweeter deal, oh well i just like to be frugal with my $$$ lol

just so u know i picked mine up at one of those new bestbuy mobile stores just last week, they sold me for $199 WITH a 3500mah battery, they sell the battery by itself for $79. check them out. i think they can actually sell the phone cheaper if you buy the phone only. good luck

That price ($185) is for upgrades. For new customers, it is $120. I don't know if the OP is a new or existing customer though.
