I agree on the battery life. I get about 4 hours of web and email use (though may be due to weak 4g in my office). With 4g off it seems to approach 5 hours on strong 3g. I forget where I saw specs, but I think they were claiming a little more than that.

Took me about two days to get used to onscreen typing. I also had to turn off predictive text. I had an ATT Tilt which I love the physical keyboard. But once used to the EVO, I realized that in landscape I am easily faster than on the Tilt, though possibly a little less accurate.
