Evo & ringtones?

Hi guys

I have ringtone assigned to some of my contacts, in the begging it was working fine and now it goes to the default reingtone for all, assigned ones and not. Is anyone else having this issue? I had same problem with my HTC HERO, I think this is a Android bug. Any thoughts?

I dunno I think it may have something to do with them being on the sdcard..

I store them directly in the media section with defaults and it doesn't happen anymore.

I have this same problem with my Evo. I assign people custom ringtones and it works fine for a few days and then it just resets everything. Cory Streater, that link is how I setup my ringtones and we are having problems with it.

In order to move them to the internal memory of the phone, it looks like it needs to be rooted. I just tried with ASTRO and I can't do anything in the directory.
