Evo slow to go back to home screen from apps?

Hey everyone,

I have a un-rooted EVO. After the GB update my phone seemed fine. But in the last couple of days I have had a long wait from transitions from apps or services back to the home screen. If I leave messages, the market, maps and so on it goes to a white screen with "HTC" for 3-5 seconds. Then goes to the home screen where you see the the wall paper and no widgets. It just says "loading" for 10-15 seconds. Some times longer. I tried moving some of the apps back to the phone to see if that helped. No help. I cleared the cache on the apps, forced stopped every thing and it still does it. Any ideas? It was real snappy before. Now all of a sudden it is real slow.

Another issue is I have "No Lock" app to disable the factory screen lock. It now is also working on and off.

Like I said, this all worked fine when I first did the GB update. But is now driving me nuts. haha

Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I'm hoping someone has an answer for this as well because I really don't want to have to do a factory reset. I'm using LauncherPro and have been for a while, but in the last week I've been getting quite a few screen redraws. I can't recreate the problem, either - it seems to happen intermittently. I will homescreen out of an app or game and the screen will be blank (except for the dock) and it will sit there repopulating my home screen with my apps. Takes maybe about 5 seconds instead of 15, but it's annoying.

Ok, I did the factory reset and wiped my phone. Everything seemed to work fine after reinstalling my apps, and a day later my phone is again redrawing about 7-10 times a day. Does ANYONE have anything on this?

I am still having the same issues. Seems to get slightly better when I clean the cache. But in several minutes it goes back to doing the same thing. It was so snappy after the GB update. Now it is the slowest it has ever been. So aggravating. ggggrrrrrr

I too, sometimes get the white HTC screen. I don't have anything special done to the phone. I don't use launcher pro or no lock

I have the EXACT same problem and symptoms. Just a regular wall paper, home page is filled with just shortcuts. After the phone has been on for a while, if I open an app and then press home, it goes to the white HTC screen then loads for about 15 sec. There is no crashing problem, just really annoying. When it starts happening, I do a reset and then its fixed for about an hour.

Other side notes:
Gmail app seems to un-sync and I have no manually check my email.
Some apps crash after I click to boot up, but they are not the problem apps, had them for months before this problem started

Just in case if somebody still have the same problem, try to uninstall Google+. It helped my Desire Z to be fast again, so it might help here too.
