Evo to TV Netflix streaming

Hello all. Just want to confirm that I can connect the phone to the TV via HDMI and when Netflix is available again, I can watch Netflix on the TV. I'm planning on buying my dad a subscription to Netflix but I just want to make sure he can connect with his phone.

NOT TRUE!! Fullhdmi allows you to mirror without being rooted, you just can't mirror at 720p without being rooted.

So you don't get as good of resolution but it does work.

@mikey Full hdmi no longer works on unrooted phones if they have the latest OS 2.3.3.

Oops. Since Netflix no longer worked, I never tried it after the update. That brings great sadness to me

Yea, me too. Didn't research before accepting the its. Sucks. But rest assured orrebmas will get full hdmi back up soon as HTC releases the source code for the new kernel.

Oops. Since Netflix no longer worked, I never tried it after the update. That brings great sadness to me

My Netflix works after update. Two things though- it is tries to update itself all the time and the phone is rooted.
