Carriers put on their bloat, and also approve everything. One thing I have noticed though is Sprint is much faster then other carriers at getting updates out. They seem to be much easier on approval.

No matter what some are saying, the update is very good and fixes some things. You should download it... Trust me won't hurt your device, especially if it is brand new. Go ahead

The bloat is in 3.70.xxx.x That's the one with Swype, Kindle, Nova, Blockbuster, etc. The 3.30.651.3 is for a camera and Qik update for the newer hardware Evo's like yours. That one won't hurt you...or annoy you.

I don't think there is a convenient way to downgrade at this time. What apps are problematic for you?
