Evo video file playback issue

I'm having a problem where video file playback doesn't resume. i play a video and if i exit and reopen the video it always starts back at the very beginning of the video instead of where i left off at. is there some type of setting I'm just missing that allows you to resume playback on a video file?

I hope I'm missing something as well. My ripped dvd's look fantastic on the EVO screen, but having to remember where I left off in each video is a real pain.
