Thanks for the comparison picture. This will be my first virtual keyboard. I went from the Moto Q to the smaller Pre, which I've actually gotten used to.

I am currently a pre user too. I bought it the day it came out last year and I am eager to get my hands on this device. Let's up it blows away my history....5th Pre that I have hand replaced. lol :o

Here are a view more interesting qwerty keyboard shots and other comparison shots.

Enjoy! :)

If you go to the link below, you will be able to view the original size of all of the pictures and a few more. Looks bigger than iphone from all angles...lets just up it puts iphone down for the count...or at least can go a few rounds with the iphone lol :)

I thought it was mentioned somewhere they changed the keyboard a touch. The arrows, which I think are obnoxiously large, are supposed to be smaller.

I'll be using ShapeWriter or hopefully Swipe anyway :)

I am REAL newb to android software. I was pretty big into my pre...hacking...writing a few apps here and there. I am assuming you mean a different visual style of the keyboard when you say "Shapewriter or Swipe?" Will you send me a few pictures of what you speak of?

Oh! I have seen that one commercial with swype! If we got that on top of all of our other features...is there a fighting bracket above Heavy Weight? lol:)

I'm liking those arrows a lot. Never liked a touchpad/trackball/etc, just always seemed awkward to me. Big friendly arrow keys FTW. :)

I have Swype for my Motorola Droid through a unknown source downloader and it is great!!!!

You have a droid!? Awesome because I have a question for you! Do you use Microsoft Outlook to sync your calendar with your droid? Is it even possible to sync via your droid and outlook or is it restricted to google-calendar?

is it true that palm might release a pre 2 shortly after the release of the evo? that sounds a lil unusual for two huge releases to be back to back on the same carrier
