Hi Everyone! I am going to be leaving Verizon this week for Sprint, I plan on getting the evo. I've had a myriad of phones with Verizon- Droid, Storm 2, Palm Pre Plus.. You name it. I've just been paying way too much for phone service.
My Dad offered to let me pick up the 3rd line on his family plan, so that's what the plan is. He mentioned something about the two of us having to split 129, I'm guessing its for the data and everything.64~ cheaper then the115 a month I've usually been forking over to big red.
I called a few sprint stores in the area and they both said the same thing, the Evo's are going faster then Dez Bryants 40 time. So the guy said he would call me Friday when they get some in stock.
What can i expect from the EVO phone wise?I've read up on it a little and have been impressed, as far as I can see it's the best phone sprint has right now. Thanks for the input..

You can buy it online from Sprint.com right now. I ordered mine this morning and it's coming tomorrow. Sure as hell beats waiting until Friday for a call from the store that might not even have it in stock.

Your going to love the EVO. Do yourself a favor go to best buy and buy the EVO for $199 outright. No news to wait for a rebate likeat a Sprint store. Also check to see I'd your dad qualifies for an employer discount. I get 25% off my bill. Enjoy the EVO.

You'll love the phone as soon as you get it. After I got mine (2 months ago), I couldn't put it down!! I'm still in love with it.
