Evo4G phone stays on near ear

I started noticing that my evo has been staying lit when im using the phone and talking.... I was eondering if anyone else is having this same issue?

Have you tried calibrating the G sensor its under settings/display

And it looks like your spell check isn't working either.Sorry but I had to.

I did the G sensor recalibration last evening... I also removed the assistant app that I recently downloaded from the play market. I had not detected any issues prior to the adding the new app. Its now working fine so far.... Thanks for tge help!
P.S. My spell check is not well....lol
