Evolve weak shiney magikarp or strong normal magikarp?

[Android Central Question]

I have a 151cp 3 star magikarp and a shiney 60cp 1 star magikarp. Which one should I evolve? Can I just power up the shiney later to make up differencrle and will it even make that much of a difference be the too anyway when I evolve

Evolve the normal Magikarp if you actually want to use it. The shiny one will always be bad, no matter how much candy and stardust you waste on it.
