EvolveSMS - best SMS app yet?

I hear ya, that's the beauty of Android, don't like one app, there's plenty more to choose from. So far, Textra is the best IMO, of course.

I've tried to set custom notification ringtones but it keeps going back to the default tone. How did you make the assigned tone stay set?

So my friend just sent me a MMS pic, currently using evolveSMS and for some reason I didn't get the picture that he sent. Does anyone else have problem with that? Had to switch to Hangouts just to be able to get the pic

For the first time, I think this (3rd party SMS) is good! Transparent bars, Native Emoji Rendering (that's big) are wonderful.

This isn't something I've had an issue with. What are your settings in the MMS Settings page?

I have not used it yet, but it definitely looks like a good sms replacement. Can't beat a good looking app that works great.

I just experienced this today. It did not send and gave me an error, but I retried and it went through. For the next couple hours I continued to receive the message not sent error until I rebooted.

Same thing happened to me today. Its unfortunate I was really enjoying that app too. Hopefully there's a quick fix on the way for it

Also same problem. My brother tried three times to send me an MMS and I received nothing but blank texts. I have not changed any of my MMS settings from the default.

yes...I've done it several times. I've even contacted the developer. Is there any special setting I need to make this happen because I'm not seeing anyone else post about the individual notifications...!

Loads better than stock... but have been having lag issues lately and the LED notifications have ceased completely... Still trying to figure that one out since I use an LED manager.

As much as I really like this app, this has been my constant complaint. I've had several people tell me that they've sent me a picture, that I've never received.
