My heart rate jumps to 245 almost every time I run on the treadmill. Now the trend of heart rate increasing as I spend longer time on treadmill and then plateauing makes sense, it drops as I cool down; but shooting up to 245 just can't be true. It happens all the time. Is SHealth Accurate?

Welcome to Android Central! What device are you using to measure your heart rate? Have you manually measured your heart rate at the same time to see what it really is?

245 bpm = 4 beats per second. Your heart would catch fire at that rate.

That rate can happen with certain tachyarrhythmias (SVT). But a rate that fast is typically symptomatic, so if you're not feeling palpitations or dizziness, it's likely inaccurate.
