Exchange ActiveSync problems?

been having problems w/ my nexus one where Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync keeps freezing up. I haven't received any emails since 9/14, thought it was a temporary network outage. But apparently no outage.

I tried removing the email account to see if that was the problem, but each time i attempt to remove, the Email app freezes then asks to Force Close, Wait, or Report. Selecting Wait just delays the need to Force Close, and Report does nothing.

Any recommendations?

I've had very similar issues, but with Samsung Galaxy 10.1 slimline tab. It doesn't seem to make any difference whether I use the samgung mail client, or touchdown, they both eventually freeze, and I then get stuck in a loop where every time i try to change/reset/resave the connection settings it freezes and I have to force kill.

interested to know/hear if anyone is having similar issues and has come up with fixies.
