I updated .604 yesterday but I am having issues getting notification for my emails. I have gone into email settings and checked notification bar, ringtone, and vibrate. But still I got an email and nothing. I have turned off and on but nothing.

Motorola does not have Exchange notifications working properly. Instead try the Trial version of Touchdown For Android app. It works much better.

or you can set the motorola messaging widget on your home screen - i find that the emails seem to come through on this immediately (despite the notifications not coming thru)

I'm annoyed, I called my corporate Help Desk to ask the server info to set up my Exchange Email and they told me "Sorry we dont support Exchange for Android, only BlackBerry and iPhone 3/4" WTF...I could see this if I worked for a small to medium sized firm, but this is a Fortune 500 company with a $10 billion market cap...c'mon get with the freakin program IT dept!!!!

Ask them if you have the ability to view your email from a web page. If they say yes you can get your Email on your DroidX easy.

This issue is posted in the "Please read before posting FAQ". Motorola is aware of this issue, and many others and will hopefully fix long before the Froyo update.

My exchange 2007 sync is working beautifully. Set to push I get emails at the same time as my outlook client does. Notifications are working for me... not sure if the problem is limited to exchange 2003/2010 or something?

I know it's imperative for the server to have a third-party SSL cert on OMA/OWA.
