Exchange server??? Help

This is what I get when I try to add my account...

I tried adding a password, pin etc... no change...

Again this works on my EVO... but not on my xoom
Just a thought. I do not have a Xoom, just following info while I am waiting on iPad II to see which I want to go with. I am still within a Sam's Club 90 Return on an iPad.

I use the Evo, and connect to my server. I am trying to remember if the security features were part of the Froyo update, or built around the HTC Skin? I know that the Evo has proper security features built in for our server.

Until the Froyo update came to the Evo, I had the same issue with the Evo. Just not sure if (I believe it to be so though) that HTC had some overlay enriching the Security features on the EVO.

OK, this is a shot in the dark but on the screen you're seeing that pop up behind the popup where it says "use secure Connection (SSL)" ....hidden behind the keyboard if you swype up or close the keyboard there is a setting that says "ACCEPT ALL SSL CERTIFICATES" I missed it at first because it was blocked by the keyboard, try checking that and see if it works.

Sweet got my corporate compliance for using the zoom on corporate email up and working on touch down

Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk

I run Exchange 2007 at my job. No problem ever on any android device and worked just fine when adding the account on the Xoom.

What I'm seeing could be wrong on your side jpohl is that you don't have the correct server address. It all depends how things are setup on the exchange side but usually it depends on what the front end server address is. That plus accept all ssl certs plus the domain should get you going.

I had no problem setting up my exchange email. When I enter my username I had to add my domain in my username. domain\username

Tried all that.... looks like the xoom doesn't have enough security... doesn't meet the hospitals requirments... not cool

This message means that Exchange security policies have been enabled on the server that your device does not support.

If that is the case there is no way around it unless the device can be brought up to "compliance" with the security policies the server requires.

Most large organizations require phone encryption as a security policy in Exchange, which Android did not/does not support yet.

I read something, somewhere that 3.0 was supposed to support encryption, but apparently it doesn't / hasn't been enabled, or I misread.
