Exchange server mail issues

Has anyone had problems configuring an Exchange email account? I keep getting an error message "account cannot be created now, please try again later". I'm able to access my email through a web browser but can't set up the account through the Mail program.

Any thoughts on what I can try?

nope, still can't connect and our company's IT guy has been less than helpful..
