My phone has a dead spot along the left side of the touch screen where it doesn't pick up touch. I need to exchange it for another phone, but since I have rooted it, will I just have to follow the instructions for un-rooting before I return it? Also, I bought it from Wirefly, so do I have to exchange it with them? It would be a lot easier to go to a Verizon store.

Unroot and put s-on before you exchange. Boot up with vol down and power and make sure it says s-on, and check your app drawer to make sure super user isn't in there, as well as titanium backup or rom manager (anything that requires root). When that's done you might also want to do a factory reset to get rid of your personal info. and i think you will have to deal with wirefly if you bought it thru them.

You would need to exchange your device under your 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee through Wirefly. We ask that customers return their device in the original condition that it was received in. So if the device has been altered in any way, please make the necessary changes to restore the device back to its original condition so that we may process an exchange for you due to the defective screen.

at least they are cool about it, makes me want to shop there when/if I get the bionic, not because I am going to root (I dont always) but that is great customer service

I agree. Good on you Wirefly.
