Exclusive Colors Delayed 5-6 Weeks!

I just got the same email now... My Sky Blue 512 is delayed.... Total bull**** cause I ordered on day 1.... It looks like we won't be getting our phones till April
 
No the phones would be shipping now. I still have the Customizing Status and the date you can only see in the invoice. The rest of my order for the goodies is saying March 22 and even that's been delayed several times now with new dates. I'm sure everything has been delayed till April. It's insane because many of us ordered on day 1.
 
Oh dear this isn't looking good!
At present my delivery date remains March 14 over in the UK.
There was no movement since order day (unpacked event) until a few days ago when the status on the order changed to 'Customizing' but nothing since.

I can understand if Samsung delay orders for people who ordered a few days later than unpacked but they should be able to cope with the initial pre orders, no matter which colour they order.

I'm still hoping they don't delay my order but it is what it is, I have no cancel button so I will have to wait it out anyway.
 
Same thing for my wife's Red 512gb. Assured last night that it would be delivered on 3/8. Today she got the delay email. I chatted with Samsung 10 minutes ago and they said 4/4 delivery.
 
I ordered the Red, 256, Ultra on Feb 9th. Delivery was set for 3/8. I just received my “ order delayed” email. Uugghh.
 
Yep talked to CS they have no information and don't know when it will be sent to me. Skyblue 512 s22ultra
I had it. I ordered on 2/9 I will never buy online exclusives again
 
Wow that's crazy... For those of us who preordered on launch day we should be getting the phones as stated by Samsung from their main page. Now we have to wait 2 months... I'll never again do this. I'll order a standard color from Amazon next time. Samsung should of had a batch made of the exclusive colors like the rest of them. This whole thing was poorly planned... It's insane.... I know I said it several times now but it's true.

Yeah this definitely doesn’t make any sense!
What do you think went wrong? Did they not anticipate the demand for those unlocked exclusive colors?
 
I find it curious that Samsung aren't shipping phones on time, but still taking orders for the S22 series of phones. Seems to me that people who recently ordered phones are getting them shipped on time, but people like me who ordered almost a month ago are still waiting.
 
well my order fro 2/9 still has cancel button,and no longer a delivery date,received another email saying sorry delayed and no new date given ,So still playing waiting game .I will wait a little longer but I am so pissed at Samsung right now,
 
It's turned into a disaster now. Samsung should have made batches of the exclusive colors before hand like the regular colors... And they are getting a backlash on Facebook now in the comments.
 
While after speaking to. CS again they have no idea when my skyblue unlocked S22 ultra will be sent. Could be April. She stated " too much demand for phone Samsung is doing the best they can" So I canceled the order. I won't wait indefinitely too stressful.


So I ordered a t mobile branded white S22 ultra 512gb.card has been charged. I saved 160 dollars

I'm sorry you had to cancel and go with another color. Sucks they taking so long. Thank goodness I got my fold 3 to play with while I wait. I'm more excited about getting the tab s8 ultra anyways which has same delivery date as my sky blue s22 ultra April 8. I ain't going to lie I normally don't like white phones but I actually like the white s22 ultra and have been tempted to cancel the blue and get white but I'm going to stick it out for awhile. Most likely if I cancel, I'll just cancel the blue s22 ultra and just keep waiting for my tab s8 ultra.
 
I don’t mind waiting a bit I understand chip shortage,pandemic etc.it’s only a cell phone and I have a working one.But I would not have ordered an exclusive color if it said 6-8 week wait.But the fact that Samsung did not plan well and have exclusive colors already available.then they can’t say when they will deliver it.cs basically says sorry wait it may be April still.I actually like white .and I figure all the cases I bought for a blue phone I can still use for white.Glad you will be getting your order soon.

I totally understand. It is frustrating. Thanks. I sure hope so and I hope you get your white one very soon. I've honestly decided to wait til phone ships to order any cases. I normally would have done have a couple before phone even shipped but with how the wait is I'm making sure I don't buy any too soon in case they delay mine another month or they cancel.
