exit application - but application thumbnails still remain

Hello
Im new to android. Im an orderly person so I like to close everything I dont use. (I dont like that the back button doesnt close apps so I always use the menu button when I finish using something. However there are some apps that have a dedicated exit button. What bugs me is that even though I use the exit button, the thumbnails are still present in the menu. Did I change something, because I think the exit used to work properly in UC browser before? I mean if my memory serves me right the exit button seemed to bypass this problem before, so I didnt have to close the tabs in the menu. But now im just left confused.

Even if I end all active applications in the task manager, the thumbnail tabs remain in the menu. soo...is this normal?

What menu are you talking about so I can better understand what you are saying.

It will store every app you have opened reguardless if they are open in the background or not. Just a quick tap on the recent app button and a tap on the close all button will solve your problem.

Some apps in the Recent apps can be used to multitask like the email and browser that can be open at the same time in split windows.
