Hi Guys!
You see ive been an android user forever and im fascinated. The issue for me now is that i got a Moto E with 4 gb of internal memory.....yhea just four.

I am only able to have 4-5 apps and 50-70 photos, and its quite annoying. I have insterted an sd card, but the issue is that ONLY phtos and videos can be sent there. Is there a way in wich i can expand my storage or at least send some apps to the sd card (because i cant).

Please help! :)

I also have Moto E. But I didn't have any issues moving apps to SD card. If you are using ART Runtime, you can't move a single app to SD. If you are on Dalvik, which is normal Runtime mode for every phone, apps can be moved. To check Runtime, go to Settings=> Developer Options=> Select Runtime. Choose Dalvik if you are using ART.

Moving Big Games to SD card is still an issue on Moto E. Otherwise you can install more than 20 apps if you move all media (pics, videos, songs, downloads) to SD card. Make sure to clear unwanted files in internal storage.

It depends on the app. Some apps work fine from the card. Some can't be moved (the developer prevents it, because that app won't run from the card). Of the rest - some can be moved, because the "developer" didn't realize that he has to check to make sure that it can run from the card, but they won't run (which is the majority).

The bottom line is to never depend on an app being able to run from the SD card unless someone has been running that version of the app from the card on the same phone running the same version of Android. Or, to be safe, get a phone that has enough internal storage space to last until you plan to replace it. Today that would be a minimum of 16GB if you plan to install more than a few apps. 32GB will give you a bit longer life.
