Extended 2750mAh battery in the AC store

Thanks for the heads up. Not a bad price.

I just ordered the Moto Xoom gel case from the Android Central store and it was a good experience.

When I order this battery it will be thru the AC store. Still holdin goff tho because I really like the case I'm using on my Tbolt and obviously the case will not work with this battery. Eventually I'll get bored of the case, then I'll order the battery. :)

Is that price right?

List Price: $84.98
Price: $59.95
You Save: $25.03 (29% Off)

Verizon sells this for $50 and gives a 25% discount* if you buy 3 accessories together in the store.

*One store told me this Verizon corporate store promotion is on-going, but another store told me it could end today and not be renewed for next month (April).

Could someone with an extended battery already in their phone post some pics at different angles(preferably one on its back on a flat surface)? I am contemplating buying one but if it looks too bulky i'll just go with an extra standard. Thanks!

I'm in the same boat. I need to see pics of this installed on a TB before I pull the trigger. Although the extra battery life would be great.

I recommend going into a store, where they will let you open the package and put it on your phone to really see and feel what it is like. When I first saw pictures on the Web, it looked absolutely horrible. But when I saw it in person and handled it, it just did not seem that bad at all. Totally different experience than looking at 2-dimensional pictures. I do not prefer the look and feel of the phone with the extended battery (as some have actually claimed), but over time it bothers me even less.

The pics I have seen on the web are pretty ugly looking. Makes the phone look like it's 8 months pregnant. Going to check this out in store and see for myself. Might have to settle for buying a standard size backup.

Go to this link for a video AND to buy for cheaper: HTCPedia

They have tons of them available for less. PLUS, there is a video of it that shows it at all angles. They ship REALLY quick too :) I bought it last week and its a GREAT purchase. The hump actually isn't as bad when I saw it in person. Plus I like the feel of it better as it contours to your hand. And most of all, you can actually USE your phone like it was meant to be used.

Also, they ship REALLY fast. You get free overnight shipping if your order is over $50. This lists for $49.99 of course but just throw in another cheap accessory and it makes up for the difference you would be paying to ship in 3-5 business days. I added a bracketron grip-it car vent holder which is great and got them both the next day. Sweet!

Pics are in the forums. As for the weight and feel for me it's not that big of a deal. Feels about the same as my old Storms with the extended batteries. Battery life is really great (2days) in 3G. I have limited 4G but I was in a 4G area this weekend and the battery did pretty well. I work in a 2G area office building with horrible reception and data arrows move all day long. This battery really helps out with this since it has a lot of juice and I'm usually at 70-75% when I leave at 4:30. That's with web browsing, emails and Twitter throughout the day. Good purchase if you need your phone to be on all day with moderate to heavy use.

Thanks for the heads up. I went to three stores Tuesday looking for this thing.
Don't forget VZW's own store :)

Extended Battery

When I login my price is lower than shown here due to accessory discounts. You might want to check yours.

BTW, I've got three of these beasts! Also have three of the standard batteries. Just due to the way circumstances worked out :)

Hope this worked :)

Bought the battery yesterday. Plugged it in at 8pm. Finished charging at 11pm. I've had it unplugged since then... 16 hours later I still have over half the battery life. This is now a SmartPhone! Anyone thinks they can run a SmartPhone on a stock battery is getting fooled. (me included) As far as I'm concerned the extended battery makes this a "Man's Phone"! I don't feel like it's going to fling out of my hands if I pick it up in a hurry. I'm less strained, believe it or not, when holding the phone to my ear because it sits better in my hand. I don't know of any cases that would fit on the extended case - but I'm ok with that right now.

Thanks for the pic! Looks too bulky for me. I'll probably just get another standard and an external charger as soon as one hits the market.
