Extended battery or Battery case??

I have a galaxy s3 T-Mobile and I was wondering if I should get an extended battery or a battery case?? Can someone please tell me the pros and cons??

Pro's longer battery life con's heavier,thicker, uglier,long charge, unhandier

A spare battery, if the phone's not in a case that's difficult to get off (like an Otterbox) is the cheapest way. A power bank in your pocket is second best.
