I went into a corporate store at lunch to buy a case for my Gnex which is coming on Thursday. They are offering half off the extended battery- ($25). If they dont have it in stock they can ship it to you for free.

This started at launch I got me one from the Verizon site. Works great. Awesome to see its still going on. It does not add much weight or size.

For $25 you really can't go wrong, but has anyone done any testing to see how much actual battery time is gained?

a few hours, maybe 2-3 which is just enough to make a slight difference.

Worth 50? no. Worth 25? Yes.

Again, they are sold out online but if you go into a corporate store they can order and ship one to you.

I stopped by my local vzw store and scored two. They did not have any in back just in the front case behind the counter.

Charging one as I type. I plan to sell my 2 standard batteries to cover some of the cost.
