Extended Battery WITH Back Door! Pics and Review

Question to you guys. Which kind of extended battery works better. The one that you are talking about (selling on AMZ) seems have more capacity, but one from the link below looks high too, and it doesn't add any weight to my phone. I wonder, how many more hours to add to my phone between these 2 kind of batteries. I really have no idea, but it seems both fit my Samsung Infuse 4G. Please advise, many tks!

I've got the 3500mAh from AMZ. Currently 39 hrs and still 55%.

Be careful of this one. I checked into this one as well and it is also being sold by a vendor on Amazon. The model number of this 2200mAh battery is the same as the stock 1750mAh battery that comes with the phone. My guess is that it is the same battery, or very similar, just being sold with a different label. I also purchase a couple of 1950mAh batteries for the Infuse and they did not work any better than stock. Thankfully I was able to return them. Both the 1950 and 2200 appealed to me because they did not require a new larger back cover. If you really want or need a longer lasting battery, it seems the only one that everyone agrees is worth it is the 3500mAh battery described throughout this thread.

Did you read the (only) user review on Amazon? Not very promising.

Hi-

I just got my 3500 extended battery two weeks ago and thought I'd post my results. After fully recharging, I'm seeing approximately 30-34 hours per average usage. I am pretty happy with that for the price.

I also ordered a thinner 1500 mah battery as backup. It is getting about 8-10 hours per charge.

As reference, my original battery lasts me about 12-15 hours depending on use. I am not rooted.

Well,I had one problem with this battery till I callabrated the battery yeaterday,so I'm kind of in the testing phase of day one again. When I first got this battery in the mail,I charged it up to 100% and drained it all the way down for four days.On the first few days I was using wi-fi tether to connect to my Ipad while on the road during some projects for work, which I'm wondering if someone gets this battery if they should take it easy on the heavy data usage for the first few days.If youare rooted and get this battery,I would recommend to callabrate the battery so all the old info baterey stats are fresh to start out with cause I'm seeing a huge difference after callabrating my phone. It's been a little over 23 hours and I'm on 46% on my battery right now.

Well, it seems as though quite a few of you are using the 3500 mah battery with good results. What are you all doing about a case? Are you doing without, and just hoping you never drop the phone? Or are you carving up some commercial case to fit it on - please post pictures!

Well that did not go too well. Although I have not completely screwed up my TPU case, it does seem like it won't work like I had intended. I cut out a significant portion of the back matching the shape of the new back cover. As I worried, the sides of the case are not as tight and therefore the case does not stay on that well.

Here is a link to a post over at XDA where someone did something similar which gave me this idea.

Since those cases are super cheap on Amazon and eBay, I might buy a couple just to try this again. If that does not work then at this point I won't have any options for a case and the extended battery.

I have the 3500 battery and have a Belkin rubberized case. It is not quite as hard as TPU, but much harder than silicone. It was fairly easy to cut with an exacto using the battery door as a template. I have some pictures showing the phone.

I also tried a silicone case and it barely fits if I take off the battery door. Problem is, the case tends to slip off when in my pocket.

Im sorry, I'm new to all of this. I searched for "belkin rubberized case" and didn't really find anything too specific. Which exact case is this? Is it made for the Infuse or for the Iphone? I'd really like to get one because I want to get the extended battery I just don't dare leave it unprotected.

Thank you for your response.
