External mic for P3/P3XL

According to Google, provision for using an external mic were supposed to have been added to the stock camera app. According to users on the Google Community Forum, it was not there as of Oct. 20th. Users on that forum report it will work with the Camera FV-5 app. I do not wish to use another app, however. Two questions here : 1) If anyone realizes it has been fixed with an update to the stock camera app, please let us know. 2) If anyone has or knows of a good usb-c external mic that will work fine with the P3 phones, please let us know that as well.

I checked 2 day ago and tested and I can say it's been rolled out. It works well btw.
