External speaker isn't working

I bought a Verizon Note 4 from someone on Craigslist. I got the phone and didn't use it until I got a screen protector and new case. The guy showed me that it worked when I met him but I didn't check the sound. When I started using it I realized the sound didn't work. I replaced the external speaker and that didn't fix the problem. I've factory reset. I've plugged and unplugged a headphone plug. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Take it to a Samsung repair specialist. I hope you weren't ripped off. I don't recommend purchasing on Craigslist.

Thanks, I'll call around. I wouldn't say I was completely ripped off. I only paid $150 for the phone and everything else works fine.
