Extra storage for HTC one x

Because many people prefer to be able to have instant access to all of their media and data files without having to rely on internet connection, thus avoiding data caps and killing the battery. Sure, the space currently available works for a lot of people, but is it that hard to imagine that just maybe some people need more space? Especially if you've used a previous phone where you had more space, it's not always as easy to adjust. Personally, I prefer to always have my media stored on my phone. When I first went up to 32GB (iphone 3GS) I couldn't tolerate 16GB from any phone anymore. I don't want to think about which stuff I want to keep on my phone and which stuff I want to stream. I want it all on my phone. It's better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.

AT&T is trying to add enough internal memory to make the phones attractive, yet not enough to keep you from needing to pay for the larger data plans.
I assure you, every option and limit is studied relentlessly to see what will return more profit.

I'm still baffled. What does a data cap have to do with a sd card. Please tell me.

Downloaded drop box last night and my account went from 4gb to 27gb. In the free storage infoit says "sense 4.0 promo" for 24months

I guess after 24 months you have to pay for the storage.

Yup. But by that time you will be hooked on dropbox. And its pretty cheap.

I filled up a 64gb ipod touch to the top with music movies and photos. I don't mind streaming through drop box but I miss having my whole music library right in my hands!
