Hello all! I noticed on day one that during a call, the extra volume option is gone. On my S7 Edge it's still there. Is that option hidden somewhere or disabled? I'm on AT&T BTW. I just liked that feature especially when I'm out in a noisy area. TIA!

I have Verizon and can't find that option either. I don't know if they did away with it on the Note 7 or what.

I went from a Note 4 to the S7 edge... wishing I could have waited for the Note 7... , but could I please ask you how do you get this extra volume on the S7 edge? Thanks.

I found this app called "Speaker Boost" on Google Play that someone recommended from the Galaxy S7 messageboard..., they mentioned that a 30% boost works wonders, but definately not above 60%. Just downloaded it and put it on 30% and I think it helps a lot. I previously had volume booster on my phone, but this app works much better. Something to try.

Thank you everyone for your kind replies!! Yeah I can't find that option anymore. I will try that sound booster that someone mentioned above. I will surely miss that feature though! It came handy when I was outdoors.

It's there during a call on the Verizon version. You just have to wait til the call is connected to change it.

Wow! I wonder if AT&T version had it removed then? I tried looking for it during a call and while dialing up. Nada.. :-(

I am on ATT, it's there, once the call connects, the 3 dot menu is in the top right. It won't show until the call connects, try calling your voicemail.

I made 2 different calls just now. When the call connects and I press the 3 dot menu at the top right, I only get 3 options: Hold, View Contact and Send Message. I don't see the option for extra volume for the earpiece nor the speaker phone. :-(

This is what I get when in a call.

Anyone know if there a technical reason behind why there is an extra volume option to begin with ? Couldnt they have made the highest volume option equal to the output of the extra volume ?

Strange, I'm an AT&T user as well, so I thought I would check to see if I had this feature, so when my wife called me earlier, I checked the 3 dot menu and didn't have an Extra Volume option. However, I just tried calling my voicemail, and when I clicked it then, the "Turn on extra volume" was there. Only difference I can figure out was I initiated the call to my voicemail, while the other one was one I received, not sure if that would make a difference or not.

That is strange, I am not really familiar with the feature and I am new to android but I called my cell from my landline and the option is still there.
