Extracting features?

I have a custom version of adw launcher but don't like it so I went back to stock launcher. Problem I'd there is a feature on the custom adw that I can't find elsewhere so I wonder if it can be extracted from the app and if so how. I want the ability to long press an app and have option to view app info market etc

If the feature you want is coded into ADW (and it likely is, rather than an external module), you'll need to identify the code responsible, put it into the stock launcher source (with modifications as necessary), and recompile and install the now-modified stock launcher. You'll need to have at least some Java programming skills to do this.

It would be easier to find another launcher that has the feature you want already in it.
