Exynos Octa Will Be In All Versions Of S4, Here's Why...

For those of you who think the Exynos Octa is about speed, you're wrong. It does not run 8 cores at once, it's a two speed quad-core and nothing else. The people who know what the Octa is about are only arguing about efficiency. I want my phone to run a long time without charging it but I don't want to sacrifice speed.

The Octa-Core's Mission is:

"The intention is to create a multi-core processor that can adjust better to dynamic computing needs and use less power than clock scaling alone."

These chips are marketed as the most efficient chips:
ARM Launches Cortex-A50 Series, the World?s Most Energy-Efficient 64-bit Processors

I've been saying that it was the s600 since it was announced. The pro just didn't make since. And to tell the truth the only reason I don't want the octa is the relatively low memory bandwidth especially when you compare it to the octa and t4

Why doesn't Samsung just use the octa for all models? All original galaxy s phones had the hummingbird. Snapdragons rock but I'd still like to see some other chipsets

They will have to use the Snapdragon on at least the CDMA models, as CDMA is technology fully owned/patented by Qualcomm. Likewise, implementing a dead technology would be a waste of time and resources for Samsung's SoC hardware team...

BIG.LITTLE can theoretically have all 8 cores working.
