For the past few days at the same time (10:09PM Central) I've had this file automatically download to my phone. I've done a Google Search and I still have no idea how to stop this?

Hey! Long time no see!

What device are you seeing this on? Any way you can open it on either the phone, or on a PC to see what's in it?

Droid Turbo

Doesn't open on the phone. Have not tried this on the PC as of yet. It's just weird that this pops up each day lately.

Anyways, long time no see is right.

I got a couple results, but they seem to be PC oriented. Tried a cache clear for your browser?

Yeah, I'm wondering if this is it since its Chrome related

Google Chrome forcing download of "f.txt" file - Stack Overflow

Gonna see if I can find a way to remove it beyond a cache clear.

That was one of the sites that came up for me. I just found a Reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidQuestions/comments/2pkk3g/help_i_think_i_may_have_a_virus/

And i also found a Google group one too; https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/Op3OHSlE4rM

Golf, so far so good today. :)

Hit me up on Hangouts sometime. Was always fun. If you need my email just PM me.

I saw this downloaded on my phone today, the file size is 7.55KB. I was doing a couple things at lunch & I'm not sure what triggered the download, but the browser on my phone is Chrome.

Do as Golf suggested above. Haven't had an issue since.
