Face proximity sensor

Hi all,

d2 global. Trying to trouble shoot an issue with my gf's phone. When talking she keeps dialing from it hitting her face. Where can I verify the settings of the face detection, I did not see it in the setup menu's. Any sensitivity adjustments? Anyone know if a plastic screen cover might cause problems? Hers is directly from Verizon.

OS is stock, non rooted. In pocket detection is turned on.
