Face recognition greyed out after installing work email on outlook ,,,

Hi everyone

I'm new to the Android community and have a Note 8

I installed my work email on the note it asked for permission to be admin and so I agreed however it has disabled my face recognition which is greyed out now under settings

Can anyone help with this please

Outlook typically requires your employer to be an admin on your phone, and it disables biometric locks.

Our IT department does the same which is why I don't use the built-in email client. I use Nine which allows "application-level" security enforcement.

Yep, they've already explained it... With your employer the admin of your device not only can they disable the biometric features but if they so choose they can turn off the camera, regulate websites, app downloads, etc... That's why my work cell doesn't connect with work. I paid for it and they can pound sand.

Uninstall outlook or go into app settings and change permissions.

I use Outlook for work and on n8 have App installed and in secure folder. I use iris to open secure folder then just open the App with no further security
