Face Unlock Problems

I turned off my Screen lock for a while. The Face Unlock was driving me nuts. I hope the issue gets fixed soon. I still believe that the finger print unlock was the best unlocking feature.

I haven't had any issues so far with face unlock on my phone. But I still really miss the fingerprint sensor.

I never got this notification until after the update to Android 11. Since then I've seen it several times. Usually wiping the top bar fixes it. Occasionally it doesn't, but after unlocking with PIN a couple times it went away.
Right after seeing this thread yesterday it happened and persisted until I restarted Action Launcher. Been working fine since.

Happens all the time to me. Sometimes several times per day. Cleaning the bar does nothing. Have to reset. Not a big enough bother to FDR

Same here. Happens here and there recently. I just turn the phone off and on and it's better.

That actually happened to me yesterday. I did use a MF cloth to clean and since then it has worked ok. Prior to yesterday, I did notice it was not always opening and had to push the power button to turn off the screen and then turn back on for it to work.
So far today, it was worked flawlessly.
However, I will NEVER purchase another phone with facial recognition. That was the one think I really liked about my LG; the fingerprint sensor on the rear. Perfect location and never failed to open up the phone. If LG could have done something with that terrible UI and update on a decent basis; I would probably be still using it.

Nothing wrong with facial recognition. But it needs to be coupled with a fingerprint scanner.

I never had that issue but mine would skip the lock screen every now and then when it was set not to.
