Several questions.

Is it my eyes or does Facebook not come installed on this phone? I thought this was one of the widgets and pre-installed apps?

I must sadly take my Bolt back tonight. My menu and home key only light up halfway. Didn't see it until was sitting is a darker room. However calling Verizon, they said brign it on in, no problem, we have planety in stock, we will just swap it out, no need to bring box, reciept or anything.

HTC Sense has a thing called FriendStream... it connects to Facebook and Twitter... I actually prefer the Facebook app, so I downloaded that... either way works.

You have to use Facebook by HTC Sense or something like that especially if you sync contacts with facebook pics. It will come out screwed up if you don't.

The app itself does not come installed, but if you go to Settings>Accounts & Sync> Add Account, facebook will be one of the options. It can then link your facebook contacts with your Google contacts (and attach their pictures and statuses to the contact page) as well as populate the FriendStream widget.

If you go into sync, then delete your facebook sync, then hit add account, and sync facebook for htc, it will fix your issue.

So I wasn't crazy, all android phones up till this one always had Facebook widget pre-installed..

I used to use Flow which imo is way better than the facebook app, but it crashes non stop now on my tbolt :(
