Facebook app crashing

This isnt that serious but i'm wondering if anyone is experiencing the facebook app crashing regularly. Mine will do it several times a day. Even if i have no other apps open. Just wondering if others are experiencing this.

Have you tried clearing the FB App's cache form the App Manager? Or signing out and back in?

Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the fb app and its still doing it. Even happens when its the only app running.

When did it start crashing on you? I noticed that the Facebook app was updated on April 23rd. The problem may be related to the update. You may have to install an older version of the app until Facebook fixes the problem.

Not sure. Its been doing it for a couple of weeks but has gotten to the point now where it happesn several times per day. I want to say its been going on longer but I am really not sure. Because before i believe it was just once in a while. Now it seems to happens whenever i navigate from FB to an article or away from FB is when Im seeing it happen the most. But i do notice its happening a lot more in the last week or so. I will try to roll back an update to be sure.

Rolled back to the factory version of Facebook that was installed on the device when I received it. I will monitor it for a couple days and report my findings.

Hmm., it appears that i have to update the app in order to use it. No way to test this unrooted I guess.

Uninstall Facebook updates back to the factory version. Go to apk mirror website and find a Facebook version dated before you started having problems and install it and see what happens.

I tried something yesterday and so far it seems to have worked but i'm not sure I like it. I turned on powersaver and the crashes have stopped.Maybe some background processes are going on that are causing it. Will also try your suggestion as well James.

If it's working now just wait until Facebook updates the app again. I know it's a little annoying to see that Facebook wants to update all the time but be patient they will get it fixed.

Had this happen to Pokemon go on my Moto X Force & the only thing that worked was turning the phone off then on again.
