Facebook App For Android VS. HTC Sense Facebook

I know I maybe alittle late on this but what is the deal with the app? Its terrible, and for once the facebook for htc sense widget is actually better (unlike the Evo 4G)

Problems with Facebook for Android App

1. Notifications when clicked do nothing - how am i suppose to see messages than?
2. Update cycle even on shortest duration is inaccurate showing peoples messages from days prior not most recent (and yes i checked the most recent setting vs. top news)
3. On Epic 4G the app flashes randomly when updating like the screen is going bonkers
4. Only on occasion get the main page notifications which are highlighted in red (i used to rely on those to take me directly to the actually message)
5. The photo sharing app is extremely slow, most of the time showing up as an error when trying to upload photos, (usually only wifi works to do so)

How do I know this is all occurring? Using the HTC sense FB widget shows so many more updates from people/places that the FB app doesnt show - updates are faster, no freezing, only thing i am missing on that is the notification that when clicked take you to the actual message - So what gives! PS - sense FB was terrible on the 4G (it never updated itself even when manually updated and was even worse than the FB app) but it seems to have redeemed itself on the 3D

Unfortunately, I find both of them wanting. I have the feeling that in order to get full "app" functionality, I need both installed to get it. Notifications from one, widget from the other, upload from one, etc. To make matters worse, the mobile browser version is also just short of being good, and definitely does not provide the "app" functionality of notifications, contact integration, etc.

What do I do? Use a little bit of all three to get things done around FB. Here's hoping one of the three can make a fullu functioning product at some point in time.

The future is Google+

I don't expect FB apps to get much better - Google will be pushing everyone to shift to Google+.

It's not even out of limited beta, but there is already a Google+ android app! That tells me something.

For FB, I usually just use the browser and use the full site. ....the mobile site is pretty good too.

In the mean time download Friendcaster pro, Its way better then the facebook app from facebook... notifications, You can actually see who liked + more... That is all..
