Facebook app login error

Just downloaded the Facebook app for mytouch 4g, everytime I try to sign in it says "An error occurred during sign in. Please try again later." This has been happening for 4 days now, and it's not the Facebook server because I'm easily able to log in on my laptop...

I know this is a few months old, but I am having this problem. The link above was to a different problem, but I tried it anyway and it did not work.
