Facebook app/website formatting problem

So as of a few days ago my Facebook app just doesn't display content properly. All I get is plain text and hyperlinks as well as a lot of "loading please try again" messages.

I've updated to the new version of the app but no luck.

Any idea what's going on? I've taken a few screenshots to highlight the problem.

I would say uninstall the Facebook app and reinstall see if that fixes it

I've tried that twice now, both before the new app update and afterwards.

Clear the data on it, and/or delete the folder where it stores stuff. The new app seems to have made my wife's facebooking better instead of worse. For a change.

Tried both of those as well, no dice. I agree the new version of the app looks like it would be great...I'm just frustrated it decided to skip the formatting on my phone.

No other thoughts on this? This is unfortunately still a problem...I can't be the only one experiencing this.

Nope, you're not alone.

The problem for me is basically the same - I click on my News Feed and it shows 1 person's status without any formatting. At the bottom, it says, "Loading... Try Again"

Tried clearing the cache, force stopping, and reinstalling. Nothing worked.

reset your router its your wifi causing the problem...

I had the same issue with only one news feed item appearing. I know this isn't much help, but yesterday suddenly all if my problems went away - the app started behaving normally and the mobile site in the browser went back to the touch sensitive version.

I guess maybe wait it out or try uninstalling once more? It really does seem like it was something on Facebook's end.
