I searched for the facebook app in the market and found nothing. Is there no facebook app for honeycomb???

I've found tweetdeck to be a good substitute for most Facebook tasks. Hopefully they'll release an official app soon.

Really? I've had the facebook app on my tablet from day 1. It isn't tablet optimized, unfortunately. Just the same app as one finds on Android phones.

Try Friendcaster for Tab Beta and Friend Me. They're both third party tablet-optimised Facebook apps.

I hope Facebook bring out an official tablet-optimised app for Android, like they're apparently planning to do for iOS though.

I had to do a hard reset on my Tab 10.1 and Facebook for Android, which I was able to download when I first got the device, has disappeared from the market. You can side load it (search Facebook for Android APK) or use Friendcaster (which I use now) or Friend Me, if you want a tablet optimized experience.

The friendcaster app is in beta for the tablet.. but it works very good.. In fact, I wish I had that app for my phone instead of the one they have on the market for my mobile device.. If the "final" "Official" (whatever that means" Facebook App is anything close to the Friendcaster app beta, then it will be great, until then use Friendcaster on you TAblet and go make some friends on facebook...

Not having an official Facebook app for Honeycomb is ridiculous. Serious fail there. No official Netflix or Skype video chat either. I love Android, but this is disappointing.

All in good time I hope. At least that is what I keep telling myself every day when I check the market for Google Video, official Netflix , etc. :-)

I will say the unofficial Netflix app works pretty well on the Gr 10.1!

The ipad has been around for over a year and there still isn't an official Facebook app... I honestly don't see the need for it, the web site does just fine on tablets

There may not be an official "iPad version" of the Facebook app, but the regular Facebook app is available to download to the iPad. However when I search the Android Market for the Facebook app I don't see it. It is true, that the website works fine on the tablets, but the app should still be available.

Also, we have to wait for WEBOS to get their dedicated tablet FB because Facebook claimed to be making one for them first.

As soon as I can get my kids to post on Google+ consistently, FB is going in the crapper. I'm sure the emergence of Google+ has something to do with the time/effort that's going into an official FB app.

And as far as Skype goes, Google Talk works way better, IMO. The only big disappointment, for me, is not having an official Netflix app.
