facebook calendar sync

When I first got the phone and setup my facebook login info...it gave me the option of syncing 3 things. It was contacts, calendar, and I think messages. I chose only contacts at the time, now I want to enable calendar sync and I can't find anyway to get that option back. I even uninstalled the facebook update from the market and deleted all my stored fb info but that option never shows up again. Anyone know about this?

i've never seen that calendar sync option nor have heard of it for android. i do miss it on my BB because of the birthday reminders.

you can get google to put birthday reminders of your contacts on your calendar

the facebook calendar thing is upsetting though because that's how most of my friends send invites to things, so I don't see them on my calendar (which is just google and work)

this makes it so that I often double-book my weekends...

I would love to know of a calendar app or widget that pulls info from facebook also

Settings->Accounts & sync->Facebook for HTC Sense-> Sync live feed and/or Sync Contacts

While in calendar->Menu->More->Calendars->Facebook

Edit: This is how it shows up on my Evo, I assume the Incredible is the same.

Unfortunately not the same on the Incredible which I find odd, no facebook calendar shows up there.

I second this...would be nice to have the birthdays pop up in the notification bar, I found one app that claims to do it but they want $3 and it comes with other features I would never use (its a stand alone app).

sync those dates into your google contact list

then go into your google calendar online (not on the phone) and go to 'other calendars' or 'add calendars' or whatever it's called

in there will be a calendar called 'contacts birthdays and events' or something

add that to your calendar

then, on the phone, go into your calendar app, hit menu>more>calendars>menu> add calendar ... it should be there, add it

yah this is awesome, thanks man! this even better than on my BB since it only has the birthdays of facebook contacts that are actually in my google contact list, ie closer friends.

go to menu, SETTINGS, accounts & sync, add account, choose facebook for htc sense.
login and it will sync your contacts to your facebook contacts. if the facebook contact has a birthday, phone number, or profile pic, that will be copied to the google contact. then once all your contacts have the bday info setup, you can follow the directions from earlier.

also, you may have to manually link up some contacts. i think it matches the contacts by email or phone number. if your facebook friend used a different email or phone number, then it will not automatically link them together.

I did this, but it's not syncing my Facebook birthdays to my Google calendar. I've manually linked all my contacts to their relevant Facebook accounts, so when I view the accounts, I can see their birthdays as per it being stored in Facebook, but not in their 'birthday' field within the contact list.

I'm not sure if the contacts need to be Google contacts or if they can just remain as phone contacts. But I did import my phone contacts to my Google contacts and told my phone to only use Google contacts, but it still isn't working. The only birthdays I can see in my Google calendar are the ones that I've manually entered into the Birthday field of the contact.

Any suggestions? Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I've just noticed all my facebook contacts birthdays are now synced to my calendar. I don't know if this is due to the newest facebook app update or because I'm running Froyo.

when I (menu>more>calendars>menu> add calendars) the OK button is grayed out. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?
