Is it always crashing for you? Try clearing the app data and cache. You can do this by going to Menu > System Settings > Applications > Facebook. If still an issue, uninstall then re-install the app then consider reporting the issue to Facebook if that still doesn't resolve the problem for you.

I tried all of this but still crashing

It was doing it to me two days ago when I downloaded an update. Then there was another update yesterday, downloaded that and it's fine now.
