Facebook crashes when saving an image.

I have a brand new S7 Edge. However, when i use FB, the app always crashes when i attempt to save an image.

I tried re-installing it, using it separately of Messenger, clearing cache and data of both thpe phone and the app, playing with permissions (and of course enabling storage usage) and rebooting the phone. Nothing. It continues to crash every time i try to save images.

Only step left is to do a factory reset, but i don't see any reason to put time and effort as the phone is brand new and with the latest updates installed (as well as latest app versions).

Any suggestions? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

It's probably a bug in the Facebook app. I'd report it and/or wait for an update on it. Try using the web version of Facebook to save images for now and see if it is fixed (the Facebook app is buggy most of the time, and they've even admitted to adding bugs on purpose to test out user interaction/reactions).
