Facebook keeps saying can't connect

My phone keeps saying can't connect but my laptop is ok only on the phone

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data? Does everything else on the phone connect normally?

Try going to Settings>Apps​, select Facebook, then Clear Cache/Clear Data. Now open it again and log back in.
