Facebook messenger functionality

Hello All,

Sorry for the stupid question, but I noteced a behaviour in my messenger, which I want to change, but don't know how.
That is the following: when i turn on the messenger on my ipad or my ipod touch, i automatically have all my messages online, at once. When i turn on the messenger on my S3 Neo, it starts to download all the messages, and i need to wait 4-5-6 minutes, until everything is synced, and i can use it (i use only WiFi, no cellular data).
Is this a setting i need to change in Android? Did anyone had the same case?

I've never heard of this behavior before. I don't remember a setting for that in my previous phones and don't have it on this one either. Perhaps it's in your app settings for Facebook messenger?
