Facebook News Feed not showing

I have installed Facebook Version on my Samsung S5, but it's not showing my News Feed, how do I fix this? (Rest of Facebook is working)

That's the new face book update. It sucks. I have to go to the settings and click recent news to see newer post.

I also need to click the three bars and most recent every time. Super stupid. I also don't always get notified of messages or if friends like or comment on stuff. Not sure what the fix is.
