Facebook Notification Sounds using Stereo Speakers

The notifications from Facebook on my Note 9 would use both speakers instead of one like other apps, and it would make the notification sound quiet and muffled. I've tried disabling notification sounds in the Facebook app and manually changing the sound with Android notification channel settings. I also tried disabling Atmos, reinstalling Facebook and it did not help.

Any suggestions?

I noticed the same. I'm at&t and on pie update but my Facebook notifications are much quieter than any other notification. I wonder if that's a problem on Facebook developers side?
